Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia
Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia is a non-hazing fraternity providing men with a love of music an opportunity to share their musical interests in a fraternal environment. The Delta Nu Chapter of Sinfonia at Bradley has been providing students unique musical and leadership opportunities while emphasizing personal and musical growth since its charter in 1948. The Delta Nu Chapter actively sponsors concerts and promotes other musical activities of the university, its student body, and the surrounding area. There are currently 14 active members. NAfME
Founded in 1907, the National Association for Music Education (NAfME) is among the world’s largest arts education organizations, and is the only association that addresses all aspects of music education. NAfME has supported music educators at all teaching levels for more than a century. NAfME advocates at the local, state, and national levels; provides resources for teachers, parents, and administrators; hosts professional development events; and offers a variety of opportunities for students and teachers. Bradley University has its own chapter of NAfME, and participation is required for music education majors.
Sigma Alpha Iota
Sigma Alpha Iota is a professional music fraternity for women. It functions in similar ways to a social sorority in that its participants have rush, rituals, and chapter meetings. However, it's different because the members have a bond through music, and most, if not all, of what they do concerns music. The Beta Gamma chapter at Bradley participates in numerous a number of projects including recitals, fundraisers, and other campus activities throughout the year including some that are in conjunction with Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia. Musicians in Business (MIB)
MIB is a student-run organization whose primary purpose is to assist students in their career explorations within the music and entertainment industry. Meeting weekly, the group is open to any student at Bradley and hosts roundtable discussions, guest speakers, social events, and music industry expeditions including trips to Chicago, Nashville, and the NAMM Show in southern California.
Brave Sounds Entertainment
BSE is a student-run record label specializing in concert promotions and the creation of music and entrepreneurial opportunities to Bradley students. BSE enriches the local music scene by managing and promoting emerging artists
Hilltop Studios
As a student built and managed recording studio on campus, Hilltop allows students to learn about the recording arts as a real operating studio and business.
Bradley Ambassadors of Music
Invitation only from Department Chairperson.
The Bradley Ambassadors of Music (BAM) is a group of students that assists the Department of Music in their recruiting program activities. They are always available by e-mail to answer questions of prospective students and they host students and their families on Audition Days and during Special Visit Programs.
