Community Advisory Alert - September 19, 2024
UPDATE
Dear Bradley Campus Community:
We have an update to yesterday evening's Community Advisory Alert. During the course of the investigation into this incident, it was determined the sounds were fireworks and not a gun shot.

On March 15, at approximately 7:13 a.m., Bradley University Police responded to a reported hate crime in the 1300 block of W. Fredonia Avenue.
Upon investigation, on March 15, 2024 between the hours of approximately 3:45 a.m. and 4:22 a.m., a suspect spray-painted graffiti at various campus locations. The crime appears to be motivated by bias directed toward a religious group.
BUPD takes this crime extremely seriously, and asks for your assistance in identifying the suspect in this video. Attached are still pictures of the suspect.
There is no imminent threat to campus.

An investigation is continuing.
A Campus Safety Alert is issued via email when a Clery Act crime occurs within Bradley University's Clery Act geography but does not require immediate action by recipients.
